Sun Safety
The Sun Safety program educates students about the importance of protecting their skin from harmful UV rays. The program includes lessons on wearing sunscreen, seeking shade, and wearing protective clothing and hats.
Teaching children about sun safety is essential for preventing skin damage and reducing the risk of skin cancer. By instilling these habits early, we help ensure that students practice sun safety throughout their lives.
Support the Sun Safety program by volunteering to assist with educational activities and distributing sun safety materials. Donations of sunscreen and protective gear are also appreciated. Contact the PTA to learn more about how you can contribute to this important initiative.
