At Schwarzkopf Elementary, our committees are the backbone of our lively and supportive school community. These dedicated groups of parents, teachers, and volunteers work tirelessly to enhance the educational experience for our students. Each committee focuses on a specific aspect of school life, from appreciating our hardworking staff to capturing cherished memories, supporting exceptional students, and planning school-wide. By joining a committee, you can play an active role in shaping the environment and opportunities available to our students. Committee members and chairs are able to participate as much as they want/are able, from a few minutes behind the scenes to being the lead of an entire event.

Celebrate the end of the school year with the Bear Bash, a day of exciting games, music, and treats for our students.
Join us for the Bear Run, a fun-filled fundraising event promoting health, fitness, and school spirit.
Home Room Parents
Volunteers who assist teachers with classroom activities, coordinate parties, and communicate important information to other parents.
Papa Bears / All Pro Dads
A dedicated group for fathers and father figures, encouraging their active participation in school activities and events.
Reflections
A national PTA program that encourages students to explore their artistic talents and submit original works in various art categories.
Engage in community outreach projects that support local schools and organizations.
Students learn various methods of sewing, including using machines, to create projects. Many of the final projects are donated and put to good use.
Our 5th Grade Committee helps plan activities for our outgoing 5th graders to celebrate all of their hard work and successes.
Advocate for and support exceptional students, including those with special needs and gifted students.
Provide students with a festive shopping experience to find affordable gifts for their family and friends.
Capture school memories for the yearbook and social media with the Photography Committee.
Cultivate a love for conservation and nature and hands-on learning with our School Garden and Sustainability programs.
Celebrate and support our dedicated teachers through year-round recognition and Teacher Appreciation Week.
