Bear Run for Parents

Parents, we know how busy things get, but the Bear Run is a fantastic opportunity to support our school while getting your kids excited about fitness and fundraising. Here’s everything you need to know to make sure your child is ready for the big day.

How to Set Up a Fundraising Page

Setting up your child’s fundraising page is easy and quick:

1. Go to: GetMovinFundHub.com and create or log in to your account.
2. Link Your Child: Use our school ID (5d2f4adf5f19a) to connect your child to Schwarzkopf Elementary’s Bear Run event.
3. Complete the Profile: Fill out your child’s page and set a fundraising goal—$40 is our suggested amount, but feel free to set a higher goal if you’d like!
4. Share, Share, Share: Encourage friends and family to donate by sharing the fundraising link through email, text, and social media.

Make Sure Your Students Are Ready on Event Day

Here’s a quick checklist to ensure your child is prepared for the Bear Run:

• Comfortable Shoes: Your child will be walking or running, so make sure they have supportive sneakers.
• Sunblock: Even though it’s fall, the Florida sun can still be strong, so make sure to apply sunscreen.
• Headphones or Earplugs: If your child is sensitive to loud sounds, consider packing these for when the music is playing.

Only two parents per student and younger sliblings are unable to attend.

Please arrive 10 minutes before your student's designated time with your ID. You'll meet your student at the Bear Den. Only two parents per students and younger sliblings are not able to attend.

Park only in designated areas (the Shell lot or along the road to the park). Please do not park in driveways or in the grass.

Important Deadlines

• Kickoff: September 16, 2024
• Fundraising Ends: October 4, 2024

Encourage your child to share their fundraising link with family and friends early on. Every little bit helps, and your support goes a long way in making this event a success for our school. And if you’d like to get even more involved, don’t hesitate to sign up as a volunteer for the event. We’re always happy to have extra hands to cheer on the kids!
