About Me
I grew up in Indianapolis, IN, and graduated from Purdue University before moving to Tampa to begin my teaching career. I have taught in Hillsborough County for 21 years and have also served as a District Writing Coach and Writing Resource Teacher. I live in Lutz with my husband, Bill, our two children, and 17 pets!
Outside of school, I teach group fitness classes at E?S Fitness and enjoy cheering on my daughter as a proud soccer mom across Florida.

Why I Chose Education
Growing up in a household with two college professors as parents, I knew I would follow in their footsteps and become an educator someday. My 3rd grade teacher, Ms. Valinetz, also inspired me to become a teacher. Making learning a fun and rewarding experience for kids is my passion! I LOVE teaching, and I LOVE Schwarzkopf!
