A fun family night at Schwarzkopf Elementary
Join us for our annual Sweetheart Dance — a school favorite and a great way to spend an evening together with music, dancing, and sweet treats. This event is hosted in partnership with the PTA, and proceeds will support 5th grade end-of-year activities

$5 per adult
Schwarzkopf students attend free with the purchase of an adult ticket.

Family Guidelines (Please Read)
To keep the event safe, organized, and enjoyable for everyone:

No student drop-offs.

At least one adult must attend with their child(ren).

A single adult may supervise multiple Schwarzkopf students, as long as each student has a clearly responsible adult in attendance.

This event is for Schwarzkopf students in Pre-K through 5th grade only.

No younger or older siblings (or non-Schwarzkopf students), please.

Sensory-Friendly Break Area
We’ll have an outdoor break/rest area available for students who need a quiet moment away from music and dancing.
Please note: this space is meant for rest and regulation, not active play.

Sweetheart Dance FAQ (Parent-Friendly)
1) Who can attend the Sweetheart Dance?
This event is for Schwarzkopf Elementary students in Pre-K through 5th grade and their parent/guardian.
To keep the event manageable and safe, younger and older siblings are not able to attend.
2) Is this a drop-off event?
No — there are no student drop-offs.
At least one adult must stay and supervise the child(ren) attending.
3) Can one adult bring multiple children?
Yes. One adult may bring multiple Schwarzkopf students.
However, for safety and supervision, each student must have a responsible adult in attendance. If you are supervising multiple children, please make sure you’re able to actively supervise them throughout the event.
4) How much are tickets?
Tickets are $5 per adult.
Students attend free with the purchase of an adult ticket.

10) What kind of drinks will be available?
We will have soda and non-soda options available. Specific drink choices may vary.
11) Will there be music?
Yes! We will have a DJ and dancing throughout the evening.
12) Is there a theme or special dress code?
There is no theme. Students do not need to wear uniforms.
We just ask families to follow the standard school-appropriate dress code.
13) What if my child needs a break from the music and dancing?
We’ll have an outdoor break/rest area for students who need a quieter moment away from the music.
This is a rest area, not a play zone. Families should supervise children in this space.
14) Where should we park and enter?
Please park in the back lot and enter from the back of the school.
You’ll be directed to the Multi-Purpose Room with signage.
15) What time do doors open?
Doors open at 5:00 PM.
16) How can I volunteer or donate treats?
We would love the help. Volunteer and donation sign-ups are available here.
